Migs had a bump
« on: 25 January 2012, 20:51:31 »

swmbo hit a deer on the way to work this morning..... ::) ::) just glanced off the nearside front bumper which is now flapping around a bit, with deer hair stuck in the trim, and the section under the headlight is damaged.......got off quite lightly thankfully the headlight is OK.. :)

She can drive it till the weekend and I will have to find a method of securing the bumper at the side, fixing are broken :( I told her that if she was going to bump the thing do a proper job and we could replace it.....with another Omega of course... :y :y

To dark and too much mud to take a photo..... :)

She is a tough old bird! (the mig, not your wife!!)  :D

Just hope your wife is ok, and not too shaken up!  I nearly hit a deer on my bike last year... My arse nipped up so tight I nearly lost my seat!!  ::)

Back in the depths of my youth I was front seat passenger in the works A55 van hareing down the back road past the Wynyard Hall Estate and a bloody great deer tried to leap over the bonnet & didn't quite make it  :o The bonnet was badly dented, the windscreen smashed and the roofline flattenened to a more streamlined shape than Austin intended! Funny thing was despite the damage, the deer picked itself up & disappeared at a good rate of knots into the surrounding woods!! ;D Must admit, I had some dhobying to do when I got home! ;D ;)

Sadly not, swmbo was a bit shook up but drove on to work....She missed the first one...... :)

Seems though she must have done a good Job though as Master Vamps saw it dead on the roadside about an hour later,  it's gone now though...... :D :D
