Well I can backup MDTM's thoughts about the Lemforder wishbones, I've managed to wreck the bushes rather quickly! Mind you, it's amazing how a turbocharger and a manual gearbox can make every corner a sideways experience... that's probably not helped their lifespan!
they last as long as they last, fair enough, but for those without a press the question then is, what else is there? There is absolutely no point fitting anything cheaper, ESP after what I've seen today. The rear bush needs to last as long as possible, so why go for cheapys? ...cost? No, false economy. Not to mention the pita of fitting again in short order.
Also note Lemforder have started date stamping their wishbones, which avoids the euro car parts ritual of sourcing one wb from one branch and the other from somewhere else. One could be year old, the other 3 months old.
Need to start picking up the parts to make the V6 meet the standard... thinking B4's, Eibach springs, and new wishbones with Poly's in. Will be keeping the V6 Elite suspension as spares for the DTi Elite as it's only done 13K unless someone wants to swap it for similar age / mileage MV6 suspension!
Nout wrong there IMO. Assuming eibach are as close as we're going to get to irmscher springs....?
Only slight reservation I have with mine is the back end. I guess it's the pollys feeling so true on the front making the back feel "less straight", seems worse in cross winds. Bit wandery.
Trying to source some pollys for the rear. Regal are being unresponsive.
