I also note on the diesel there is a drain directly from the block i would imagine. a lot easier than my v6 (and anyone else with a v6) as you can only get 50% of coolant out at a time, hence having to flush it

but the rad tap is easy to get at though.  :y :y
TD having a block drain (like your beloved senator iirc) and a rad drain makes it easier to completely renewal coolant :). Not that its hard on a v6, just more time consuming...

I'm not sure where TD's came into this thread ...........  ??? ??? ???
You've obviously never seen where the block drain plug was a straight 6 ............ They were that accessible that I'd never ever seen mine in 10 yrs of Senator ownership! (under the exhaust manifold IIRC)  ;) ;)

sorry to ask but where bouts is that

at the top of the radiator  ::) ::) ::)

I'd also be squeezing the bottom radiator hose ........... found at the bottom of the rad.  ;) ;) ::)
