My radio wont work , the multi display is showing SAFE ?  Can it be reset

Do you have the 4-digit code for it, if so then easy to reset.  Though you'll have to re-store your radio stations back into the memory.

Not sure i have the code , ill have a look .No way of resetting then without the code ?

Found the code and its all sorted now ....nice easy job and it even kept the radio stations

Im thinking it would be more of a problem without the code  it was my fault it stopped working as i pulled a few fuses doing some checks

if you read you manual you can disable the code on the radio (if you want to)  so any future work on the car involving battery disconnecting (there will be loads)    will not affect radio

Good tip , ill look into that as im sure ill be doing a few more jobs yet

Easy enough to do. Just enter code again using same procedure
