Key Fob locking / unlocking
« on: 12 February 2012, 08:08:18 »

When I got my Omega last week the key fob buttons were worn out and all 3 micro switches on the circuit board in the key were either not working or had fallen of the circuit board.
I bought a repair kit and the buttons now all work perfectly.
My question is - when locking and unlocking the doors should the indicators flash?
The locks all work perfectly from the fob and the alarm activates but there is no indication from the car that the locks have operated unless you are close enough to hear them.

Thanks,

next question, what can I check to make them flash again??

They all work normally as indicators (and hazards) they just don't flash with the fob lock/unlock.

Knackered or removed relay behind passenger kick panel right at the top, may have to remove glovebox
