Part prices and TC query.
« on: 04 March 2012, 19:49:36 »

Hey up lads. Hope you're all well.

Some Q's:

1. I'm going to redo the CC gaskets as mentioned on a previous thread. I see the price on Mark's (excellent) how to guide is £25 + VAT for the CC gaskets but then there are these O rings and sealant:
•Gasket, Inlet bridge to head: 90501652, 2 off
•Gasket, Inlet to Inlet bridge: 90501653, 3 off
•Gasket, Inlet to Plenum O rings: 9118135, 6 off
•Sealent, Black (not the Green stuff!): 90485251, 1 off
I'm presuming these just cost a few pence? Anyone know the actual prices?

2. Here's a cut and paste from the TC website for cambelt kits. Ignore the first as that's a timing belt on it's own but there are 3 other kits with 3 different part numbers  :-\ any idea which is the correct one?

Thanks all.... as ever  :-* :-* :-* :y

Depends on your engine number, check it with those 3 that are listed.

UMMMMMM :(

CC you mention .. now thats camCOVERS ....

the kits you quote are all camBELT kits .... very much a totaly different animal.... :(

AFAIK cam cover gaskets are not on trade club, and there is no such thing as a camcover kit .... :(

Now, if you are talking 2 totally seperate jobs .. ignore me ....  :)
