have you done the chains yet the following info may help as i have done mine twice in the last few days.
Disconnect the battery
Remove viscouse fan (Left hand Thread 32mm spanner) good sharp smack will shift it.
**Optional but gives more room Drain and Remove radiator and cowling.
Remove front of AC tensioner pulley if fitted and release tension on belt 13mm spanner remove AC belt
Release tensioner roller on aux belt remove belt
** Next to alternator looking down around the cam sprocket are 5 10mm bolts and one stud/nut double nut the stud and remove it if this comes out you will not have to remove the head.
Using 22mm socket on main pulley set at TDC turning engine clockwise only (No1 cylinder on compression and cam lobes at 10/2
Lock crank at TDC using special tool in flywheel (11.8mm rod with 8mm tip fitted through access hole below starter motor.
**Check crank is locked by rocking crank back and forth if it moves at all it is not locked**
remove 5 bolts around front of camshaft cylinder head housing (2 are very long at the back of the housing) you should have already removed the stud as above.
remove AC compressor if fitted and place to one side (leave pipework attached they are flexi)May have to remove hose clamp on turbo hose frome below) 3 13mm bolts
remove AC compressor bracket 6 13mm bolts
Remove alternator mounting bolts and move aside (mine was a bitch and had to keep moving it to get access 2 13mm bolts
remove power steering pump and bracket as one unit 2 13mm bolts on engine and 2 on front plate.
Remove water pump 4 10mm bolts use 2 of the bolts in the threaded holes to jack the pump off
remove thermostat housing (optional)
remove water feed pipe below thermostat housing 1 10mm bolt
Starting at bottom right corner of timing chain cover remove 7 10mm bolts
starting at bottom right of timing chain cover remove 8 10mm bolts
Drain sump if not already done
remove 5 sump bolts around front sump/timing chain cover
Slacken but do not remove remaining sump bolts(releases pressure on chain cover)
you should now be able to prise the chain cover off.
