mv6 seats
« on: 07 March 2012, 20:13:28 »

Hi all,

does anyone know if the leather seats off a 2002 mv6 have the child seat sensors?

If not, does it really make any difference?

TIA :y

If your existing seat has a CSS and the replacement doesn`t you`ll get the airbag light on. Doubtful whether TECH II would turn it off as the main SRS ECU will be configured for the CSS and it cannot be reconfigured for no CSS

I take it then that it makes no difference then?

I don't need or use the feature ???

You beat me to it!! lol.   Is it possible to change the srs ecu? If so, is it difficult/expensive?

I turned airbag light off,it came on when I installed a seat which had a sensor and my previous seat didnt. If you transplant SRS ECU with seats it should prevent any problems afaik.

Because your SRS ECU wasn`t configured for a CSS :P

Not a massive job them, although big enough for me, lol
