Am I getting old or do all new cars look the same?  This could be an XF, BMW5, or just about any large car from europe couldn't it :-\

They've AlWAYS looked the same!

Most thirties cars can only be distinguished by the radiator grille.

Look at the 'difference' between a Peugeot and a Farina Austin/Morris in the fifties.

How about a Supeminx and a mk1 Cortina? Early sixties.

Triumph 2000 and Volvo 144? Mid sixties.

Hillman Hunter and  mk2 Cortina? Late sixties.

Mk3 Cortina and a Ventora? Early/mid seventies

Mk2 Cavalier and mk5 Cortina?

Nova, Polo and Fiesta?

Honda Accord and F/L Omega?
By the time you've packaged the mechanical parts, added an interior and the applied the style of the day, then they're bound to look the same.

Compare the square Lincoln Continentals of the sixties with a smilar aged Fiat or Alfa. Only real difference is the size.

I made that mistake yesterday :-[ :-[ well from an angled view of the rear quarter, I simply said to swmbo I like the colour of that Omega and then when got a square rear view realised I had the wrong car.....quite similar really...... ::) ::)
