I'm no eco-freak, otehrwse I wouldn't drive an Omega, let alone a V6, but I do think that free carrier bags is a bad thing. It's not the environmental "green" issue, it's the bloody mess they make when you see them blowing on the roadside that bugs me, we produce way too much packaging that ends up littering and that's what I object to personally.

I have a whole bunch of those "bags for life" tucked away in the side compartment of the boot of my car.

What I can't stand is when you go in and buy 1 Mars bar and a can of Coke and they say "do you want a bag for that".

NO, I HAVE THUMBS!!!

The worst one was last week when I went to Pets At Home and bought 1 10ltr bag (with handles) of cat litter. The girl on the till then tried to put it into a carrier bag... ffs!

SWMBO says to open those carrier bags " You have to find the exact right  spot and have the perfect  touch and then everything comes together!"  --

Think shes having a dig at us guys - not so sure shes talking about "carrier bags" though :-[ :-[   ;D ;D ;D ;D
