I know how you feel bud  :(

I have needed glasses for a few years for reading but always managed to get by with a little squinting  ::)
After about 3 years of goading and collective abuse of the missus and lad last year, I took the plunge and got my eyes tested.
For the first few days, it was like I was walking around with telescopes bolted to my eye balls.
I could see the smallest of things but now my eyes have relaxed I can't even see the food on my plate clearly without them  :(

About 20 years ago I started using glasses for reading and before long needed them for everything. >:( I then went for contacts but after a while got peed off with these as I kept sleeping in them and waking up not been able to open my eyes.
I then saw a add in the paper about getting your eyes lasered.Anyway cutting the story short it was the best £3k I have spent. Still no glasses and eye sight still good :y

I've been wearing reading glasses since I was 15 and now wear them more often because contacts bother my eyes. Thank goodness I can order online from some places like Zenni Optical and I have 12 pair of glasses in different styles and colors in case I lose them. People seem to think I’m “cool” but really I’m just blind as a bat. :(

Only put off until tomorrow those things which you are willing to die left undone. Another day with nothing to do.

I've needed reading glasses for about 10 years and keep them all over the place, the cheapo ones in the Kitchen, Shed, Car and Garage, prescription ones in the Lounge and Bedroom where I read alot, with a seperate strength pair in the office for using the computer. That way I don't lose them although there is often two pairs in the same place ;D ;D
It's an age thing, I used to be able to stand up without holding on to something :( No Comments DD ;D ;D ;D
