xmas meal & new year meet in burton on trent

im thinking of sorting a meet/new year meal in burton on trent, a sort of pre-season get together. im looking at a few places at the moment, not wanting anything too expensive but also value for money.
 i was thinking january as we can get the christmas rush out of the way tbh.
 would anyone be interested?.

this could be pushed to early february, considering when payday is & how close after christamas.
a posibility is the boars head at sudbury, also does accomadation. could be looking at a saturday if any folks fancied a good drink & a night out.  :y
