So nobody watches anything cheerful? Amusing? Relaxing even?

Oh dear. ;D
Difficult, often, to find anything on worth watching most of the time. So I tend to watch a lot of films.
ffs don't you start....

...come on, what films then?
This week, its been:

The Watch - mostly tedious comedy, with a couple or quite amusing, if purile, scenes
Snakes on a Plane - thriller, better than it sounds, quite enjoyed it
From Russia with Love - Its Bond, 'nuf said.

This week, I have mainly been watching...

Masterchef: The Professionals

I do a lot of cooking at home, but don't have the time to make anything fancy...plus I am usually cooking for an 11-year old and a very fussy 8-year old, so not much chance to experiment. That said, my home-made spaghetti bolognese has become legendary amongst my daughters' friends when they come round after school.  :y :y

...and I've just had a big bowl of pasta bake and, apparently, an entire garlic bread, bar one slice. :-[ ;D

Any Billy Connoly. Rare these days although his series was ok.
Buzz cocks. Bit too piss takey, but it tickles me.
Most of those red neck gun programmes on Discovery.
Any top gear
Qi, just right, often sends us off to sleep. Not as it's boring, like F1 ::), but because it's pleasant, relaxing amusing etc :y

Transformers, Iron man. Any sci fi, or epic blockbuster that suits a decent home cinema.

Gladiator goes on now and then. Shawshank. Green mile.

Oddly, I tried hard to acquire the band of brothers box set, did so, then only ever watched one disc. :-\

I've always struggle with most of the "Marvel Comic" films. I'll make an exception for Ironman, purely for Pepper ;)
