Depends i guess on how cold your fridge is.....mine runs at 1C and seems to keep food/meat fresh for ages (tho i dont keep it more than 5 days)  :y

My cousin was hospitalised last year after eating turkey soup that had 'mellowed' a bit too much!!  :(  Bloody Christmas!!  >:(
