It would explain its lousy fuel economy and stuttering especially 3000 -4500 rpm. You have to floor it up the slightest slope otherwise people walk past. :'(

I'd be inclined to see if Marks DTM in Nottingham has any time to do a proper live data check on it...   ...I'm suspicious of the readings your machine is giving you.

Finally got it sorted :D! Changed the MAF and an instant difference, it was smoother and wanted to pull better and improved gear change. It was still being twitchy to start after an hour or so. I purchased a new exhaust manifold (suspected the manifold I could here a blowing from cold) everything fitted today and for the first time since October she finally drive's really well. Thanks everyone for your guidance and help, much appreciated :y
