RobG....yep thats the one i`m looking at. you reckon that could be the new cat that has been fitted, any idea as to what a genuine part would cost please, and does it need 1 or 2 , dont know how the exhaust pipes run., would I have to change it for MOT emissions test

I would budget for rebuilding the front suspension and getting the geometry set up properly afterwards before changing the tyres (unless they're illegal of course).
