After this case I wonder how many more MPs will be twitching every time they count the point on their driving licences.  ::) ::) ::)

I saw some statistics on MPs poor records not so long a go. About 30% of them have such a bad credit rating they cannot obtain a credit card, over 10% of them have a conviction for drink driving etc, etc.  :o :o :o

Lets hope justice is done and he has to avoid big Winston while in the showers.  ::) ::) ::)

A self serving political slime-ball who I can't stand. I'm not sorry he has fallen on his own sword.  :y :y :y

Lizzie will probably know where resigning MPs alternate between applying for the stewardship of the Chiltern Hundreds or the Manor of Northstead, which one is due next?

Usually they actually end up in a top city job, or becomes a TV celebrity! ;D ;D ;D ;D

This one MUST not have an easy way out, and as he is not a Conservative he will probably be kept out of any honourable route of resigning as those quoted clubs!  Let him fall on his sword! >:(

Can't see him bothering. It's not as if it's going to save his reputation. ::)

His son has laid bare his feelings for his father in e-mails published today! A rather nasty individual who has risen to his natural position, the scum floating on the top of the poison chalice that is British Politics. >:(

There's plenty of precedence when it comes to dodgy figures in public life going down for this:

Jonathan Aitken
Jeffrey Archer
Ali Dizaei
...

If he doesn't get porridge it will be an outrage IMHO.

There is hope possibly for him doing porridge,as I have the impresssion he is unpopular with most of his colleagues in Westminster,so they might throw him to the wolves.I still have my doubts, but lets hope so.

It was that camera at the end of the M11 that caught him. Ive always hated that camera*,but it was worth having it there if it finished his career.
He employed an expensive team of lawyers to try to use every trick in the book to get the charges dropped. When they failed and it got to court he fessed up.Typical of his type.
It only happened because he left his Mrs afaik, and she started singing like a canary. As the old saying goes, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. ;D ;D

* The camera had taken over £1million in fines a few years ago,yet accidents had risen where it was sited due to it being sited where the road narrows from 3 lanes to 2,and people were concentraing more on hard braking to get down to the 50 limit before the camera rather than getting in the right lane at the right time.
The powers that be denied it was a cash machine, but refused to take it down. ::)

What planet do these people live on that's do seperated from the real world.
He didn't think his ex would peruse him to the bitter end.
And Clegg thought he was pure as the driven snow.

11 years to conclude, I believe? He should owe the tax payer, except he'd put it on expenses. ::)

from what i can gather he resgined before they could sack him  but when he gets sentanced he will automaticaly lose his pension rights and any severance pay he would get if not i would gladly take him to court to make sure he did lose it all

Just watched the BBC news headlines.Surprise surprise,no mention og Chris Huhne. ::)
Clegg meanwhile is claiming to be shocked and saddened. In reality, hes probably cracking open the Champagne,as Huhne was odds on favourite to take his job very soon if this hadnt come to light. ::)

Another thing he is guilty of is profound stupidity.

Has he never heard the saying  "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"
