Easiest way to clean breather pipes is disconnect them and spray a little carb cleaner spray in them and blast out with airline :y
and to remove breather box you need to take off heat shield form exhaust and as bolt on back of heat shield is a pig to get at easier with down pipe removed :y

I wouldn't bother taking the box off. There's the square root of damn all in it to get blocked, so just give it a good squirt of carb cleaner, unblock the smaller nozzle with a pin if necessary and check with a length of hose that you can blow down each port on it freely.

Better to know they're clear than have to mess about with the cam cover gaskets.

Another div here. I need to do mine next month.

So cleaning breathers is essentially,

1. Remove plenum and breather bridge. Clean breather bridge, throttle body and inside of plenum (if necessary)
2. The four pipes at the back the the breather bridge. Two large ones join into one pipe and connect to the breather box at the back of the passenger side. Take this off and clean as well as removing the crud in the hole.
3. Do the same with the smaller of the two remaining pipes.

What does the other pipe do?

spot on SMD. don't empty a bottle of carb cleaner down in to the breather box though. get crud out with a drill bit (twist and the crud will catch on the drill bit) for the big hole and a bent paper clip for the two smaller holes  :y
