Brill info,on the question of engine flush,would it be better to use "cheap" oil to run through a couple of times and then fill up with the best oil? (In the context of mayo in the engine after HG failure)?

Yes,a couple of short changes probably better than using engine flush :y

worth a bottle of wynns lifter fluid in with the oil if your lifters are tap tap tapperty :)

if the lifters are tapping I BELIEVE it should go like this:

change oil
300 miles later change oil again and add Wynns
change oil again in normal 3k miles.

anyone concur?
