Excellent. :y

Where are the power sockets? (Do they pop up in towers?)

Two drop down from the wall cabinets (you can just see one on the left) and one pops up by the kettle. They also include phone chargers.  :y

Few air fresheners hanging from the cabinets perhaps? :)

A job well done :y, though I'm far from convinced about the illumination, but it'd be boring if we were all the same.

I love it - looks fantastic :y

Did you get the glass splashback's cut to the right shape and then installed or does the one on the left actually run up behind the cabinets, if you see what I mean?

That must have been a pretty serious sheet of glass to be sticking to the wall though! No-more-nails? ;D

They were cut to the right size, then stuck to the wall, leaving a 5mm gap at the bottom for the lighting. The template was done by the glass company, which was a good thing as the first one was cut oversize in the factory, so they had to do it again. If it had been my template I expect they would have sworn blind that I'd got it wrong!  ;) ;D

Very nice job.  :y :y :y :y

I expect there will be a few green with envy.  ::)

Thanks. The main unit design was all SWMBO. My idea was the LED-illuminated glass splashbacks.

All-in-all, not that expensive, compared to what can be spent on so-called designer kitchens. :y

Lovely, I wanted to put that in our kitchen, but was vetoed by SWMBO. Her loss. :-X

 ;D Lucky, that!

Was it a national company or a local glaziers? My kitchen is definitely on the list of things to do (of course, so is the garden, the shed, the kit car.. ;D) and I'd love something like that  :y

I can just see NB lazing around with a glass of claret as the long-suffering Mrs NB slaves over a hot stove. ::) ::) ;)

They are all on an induction loop from the nuclear powered worktops. :y
