I tried contacting Remus but have heard a thing from them, so now it looks like I will be chopping the middle boxes out and welding some pipe in and then changing the back box for a stainless steel item

Standard GM exhaust setup is free flowing enough, little improvements to be made. Restriction is at the exhaust manifolds.

Welding pipes in place of middle boxes will make it sound very loud, that may give the perception of increased performance  ;)

Everyone is different, but without double walled centre boxes it's going to be very loud. The difference between double walled and single skin is very noticeable.

Its wont go any quicker, and will be louder. We've seen too many on here to find anything different.

Having said that, the Remus system is ver nicely made, sounds nice IMO, but is a little pricey tbh. Plus with a 3(?)inch bore, centre section will not mate to an Irmscher box and hence the Irmscher bodywork on mine. Which is a shame.

Nice system, but it won't be quicker.
