Something still not corrected properly - most likely a plug, but if you've already checked, could be anything. What else did you move when you rearranged the leads?

we took all leeds off and did them one by one as per coil and cam cover firing so on drivers side 135 and other side 246 is it possible that a faulty crank sensor would stop it from starting

Quite likely (especially if the lead was disturbed while you were working on the plug leads).

A faulty crank sensor doesn't always bring up a code. I found when one of mine failed that the EML light stayed on when the engine was cranking. With a new sensor the EML went out as soon as the starter started turning the engine.

I would have another look at the plug leads before condemning the crank sensor though.

I think this shows the correct order for the later DIS pack

I had an early (1994) V6 with the coil pack bolted to the head and the leads coming out horizontally towards the bulkhead.

Later ones had a shelf with the coil pack sat on top with the leads pointing vertically.

[sorry, I can't bring myself to call it a DIS (digital ignition system)]
