Looks to be about 150-200 per corner for half decent fronts and 200-250 per corner for half decent rears.
Of course you might be able to save a few hundred notes with ditch finders.

I'd just leave them on until they're shagged whatever the time of year!  :)

If it's fine to use summer tyres in winter, then you can use winters in summer, which I have and couldn't tell the difference to be honest!  :-\

I'll probably get shouted at now......   ;D ;D ;D

Depends how you drive to be honest although the winter tyres tend to be very noisy in comparison and dry grip is less.

I did notice a fair bit of tyre noise. Even so, it was still far more 'hushed' than my MV6 on Goodyear eagles. :y

Hmmmm...only a small bonus though. Opti will just look at it, driving it would be far too expensive for a tightwad such as him.

I won't be using it as much as the Omega, taking Mrs Opti's Corsa on shorter trips.

She'll be fine with the bus.....mixing with the great unwashed. :)

It does. But no more sonorous than a V6 Omega in full flight. :y

I checked out a few  Monaro's in the Autotrader. For a 2006 car they range from about £7-£10,000.....which, I think, is on the steep side.

Far more muscular than the Merc though. :'(

After a call from the owner  we've agreed on £6750 for the CLS 500. :y
 .....

You knew it made sense  ;D  ;D  ;D

Start saving for fuel now. I'd imagine that you could easily run the mpg down to low teens.  ::)  ::)  ::)

As much as I'd have loved the R500 I just couldn't justify a 5 V8 2300kg 4x4  ???  ::) They can keep up with a Golf GTi at the lights  :o

Sensibilty made me buy the R320 though  :(

Best figure I can find for the CLS is 1824 KG ( Kerb)..........which still puts it in 'fat bastard' territory. ;D ;D

I believe that the VW Phaeton also weighs about 2300 KG.

Women don't possess the mental capacity to appreciate cars like us men, Mr Emd.

A ten year old Corsa will do just fine. ;D
