Mid week beverage
« on: 05 February 2014, 18:13:20 »

What would you good God fearing folks be drinking on a school night?

Just wondering as this degenerate is working on the demolition of a very nice ruby port ;D

Port you say? that's an old mans drink :)

Yip, the cap does fit rather too well, I'll be driving an Omega next.................................Oh wait ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Same as every other night . . . . . TOO MUCH  !   ;D

A beer or maybe two (about 50p a 50cc can in France), then some red plonk. Anything from some cheapo (but not bad) stuff at £2 a bottle from a French booze cruise, to the occasional bottle of something a bit more special. My real treat would Amarone della Valpolicella  :y

Well I never used to drink sherry till I moved to Spain. Like port it is a delicious drink of infinite subtlety. I had a glass of Pedro Jimenez tonight earlier. Very very nice. It would have been a tenner or more in a UK bar.

Got a very ordinary but good tempranillo grape Rose wine with our evening meal.

I guzzle quite a lot of this. £2 a bottle in the wine sheds of Calais

Currently half way through a bottle of Tescos finest Biere d'or, washed down with a Chinese 8)

At 35p per bottle, it tastes infinitely better than any of that crap Whitbread brew strain from the Thames ::)

Might have another bottle or two later, followed by a finger or so of Honey Jack Daniels from the fridge to finish the evening off...
