Some arse has gone through a big BT cable at the exchange and. 700 homes without landline and broadband ... Mine included , it MAY....MAY be fixed in a couple of weeks. Won't be paying my line rental this month for sure and am sending them my mobile data bill

Hardly BT's fault that somebody has decided to dig up a large cable. Or was it BT who dug it up?

Oh, and I doubt you'll get *any* mobile data refunded, so bear that in mind before you rape your dongle. If you have an SLA on your broadband, you may have some comeback there though.

Pillocks! Though I doubt it was BT, as I doubt they are allowed to dig now, so I think its all subcontracted

You would have thought they might have snagged one or two but seven!

Was it being machine dug? Too much speed and not enough care to check for services ime

Seen it loads of times near new developments :'(
