Not my cup of tea however they will sell like hot cakes to the same sort of people who buy Jukes, Mokkas etc. We are just all old farts stuck in a time warp liking our retro gas guzzling rides without Blue tooth SMS*, Ipad8 dock and GPS driverless mode etc etc :-[ :-[

* so the passenger can communicate with the driver.

Not so Varche, we are simply cynical/intelligent enough to not buy into any of that marketing horse radish... and that is summat to be proud of, not embarrassed by :y

I'm not sure I'd ever say I was proud to drive an Omega - it's a 10 year old nondescript non-badge luxobarge that was predominantly driven by reps who couldn't stretch to a BMW when it was new… ;D

I know really. Just acting devils advocate. Does anyone remember how we all railed against the "ugly" Ford Sierra when that was released. For years that was the car copied.

Somebody was telling me last week of a french car (Peugeot / Shitroen - can't remember which) where the sill panel folded up when the owner tried to jack it up to change a wheel. Took it to main dealer who advised him that a jack and spare tyre aren't standard equipment and that, for that reason, the car is only designed to be suspended on a vehicle lift for servicing.

So, they make them so tinny that they can't support their own weight now. And then stick bits of random plastic on them, it seems. ::)

Reps never got the Omega, they had to settle with the Astra or perhaps the Cavalier.......... :y :y
