Ah, read the PM before this ::)

Ideally need to see what a) MAF is reading, b) what LTFTs are reading **BEFORE CODES ARE CLEARED**

Something isn't adding up here.  Rusty coilpacks but no water ingress?  Misfires on 5 cylinders???

Codes cleared a month ago, yet still coming back?  new Coil packs etc etc.

Hmmmm.  :-X

If you have changed thermostat I take it you had the plenum /inlet manifold off if its worse since you did this check that everthing is seated right all seals are where the should be etc to eliminate any air leaks plus are all vac pipes connected right  as you say its now worse than original status .

Hi all
This problem I think started from going over a speed hump a bit fast. Have noticed a heat shield is missing just after downpipe on drivers side, could I have damaged cat or sensor. Can't get live data as get don't have somewhere that is close enough to take it to. Don't want to risk driving to far or damaging the engine. Did check all vacuum hoses  can't see anything wrong or amiss. As regards inlet manifold double checked and tourged when refitting as know these can be a problem.

My immediate thought is MAF, hence asking for the live data figures...
