Now, that MV6 would look very nice on my drive in front of the black estate elite and I have a day off tomorrow. Price is top end but if it's a good one with cam belt history and all jobs done then £1795 sounds OK. Nitro you've seen it, is it worth the money ::)

Trying to provoke a former member into rejoining, but I suspect futile posturing rather than constructive efforts ::)

With the kit and the leather, you wouldn't loose money on it... even if it needs a few bits and pieces.
I would suggest the price is a relative steal... must be worth a day out to make sure that it's rust free and mechanically sound if you're interested :y

Futile yes, posturing no. Futile provocation is probably the term you are searching for Al.  ;)  :y

After all if he hasn't reared his ugly head after you suggested that his magnificent black Irmy Elite looks similar to my slightly shabby CDX with it's scrapes, scratches and  £2.74 windscreen wipers, then he never will.  :(   :-\

Sigh!  ::)  ;D

I didn't even get a text for that one... ::)

I believe there's also a level of frustration at peoples complete inability to read a thread through prior to posting inanely on it... This thread being a case in point :-\

There's definitely summat in the water in the greater Northampton area...

Usual Omega bits...

Evidence of servicing,  and by evidence I mean invoices, not a forged service book... Even a self maintained car will have some receipts... But looking for cambelt, wishbones, hbv, coolant condition, test everything to ensure it works as intended. Rust...wheel arches, door bottoms, front chassis legs. Drive it... Any clonks or knocks, odd handling traits, tyre wear. Do pedal trick... If this doesn't work suspect missing eml light.

Beyond that, usual second hand car stuff. Dvla vehicle check with reg and v5 number gives you Mot status, Vic marker ( if any), and Mot history and can all be done for free on a smart phone, so no excuses for not checking.

In part, yes. I make no apologies for the sentiment but might have phrased it better.

If Chris had wanted an autopsy on why he left, I'm sure his exit would have been far more flouncy.
