I do when I've got nothing else to do, like today.  

For the previous couple of weeks, I haven't had any time at all - absolutely snowed under.  Now I don't have anything in my hypothetical in-tray until 21/07.  

Management? Piss up? Brewery?  

When the team I'm in moved offices last year, I organised it.  So, it just so happens that, apart from a couple of contractors who couldn't care less, no one can see my screen, and I've got full view of the door.

Update: I won't be viewing the forum from work any more.  

They finally worked out I haven't got anything to do, so they made my job redundant.  I think that means I get made redundant in a month or so.  

Should be very upset - it's a serious kick in the wallet.  But somehow or other, I am quite upbeat about it.  I needed a good kick up the backside to get out of this dump.   Of course, whether I'm ever going to get another job at my age, only time will tell.

Very sad news in one sence matey, but in annother way I think you are happy.

Plenty of options out there matey, being a Taxi Driver is just one of them.   All the best for the future.
