How much have I made by never buying a ticket? ::)

Me too :y

I don't/have never placed a bet in my life. I even deplore the fact that it's OK for the older generation to play Bingo.... another form of gambling/betting....

Only ever 1 winner in these things....

Ive done same 5 lines for 20 years, fiver a week no problem
Them came the wednesday, tenner a week, still no problem
then went up to £2 a go £20 a week, problem, but cant stop cos i know my numbers
now the new 59 numbers, less chance of winning, and i'm not changing my old numbers to add a 50 in, so camelot, F**K right off, you've lost my £80+ a month  >:(

And if you had put that £40 and then £80 a month into a highish risk emerging markets investment fund, the chances are your £12,000 spend would now be a good tidy investment.

They also increased the odds when the cost of a ticket went up to £2, as before that you would have had two chances of winning for your money.

That also took into account the new raffle that guaranteed a 20 £20,000 prizes every week  ;)

Since they put another ten balls in the mix, Nobodys won the jackpot in those two draws, So its 12 Million for this sat

That's probably the way it will work. Wait for four or five rollovers then buy a lucky dip.

No idea about that, I don`t know anyone or have heard of anyone winning on that.

I`ve known and heard of people winning on the lottery and I know that my local Post Office has had five raffle winners since it has been going, the raffle that is not the post office  ;D

I've dropped Camelot like a hot potato now that they've added an extra ten balls. It's easy to forget that 2 weekly plays adds up to £200 a year.

I'm now playing the health lottery at £1 a week (£50 a year).........and picked 3 balls at my first attempt. £20. :y :y

The Health Lottery has 50 balls as well though so I assume the odds are the same as Lotto?   :-\

Half the price though!  :y

I try and have a go on El Gordo The Christmas lottery here in Spain. I think it is the biggest in the world.Tickets are 20 euros plus three euros going to good causes. As well as having low value winners the first part of the number ensures localities become rich. e.g. everyone who bought a ticket starting with say 4842. So you get whole villages or most people in a town becoming rich overnight.

Had three goes and won 40 euros for an outlay of 69.

Send me 20 euros and I will have a go for you this year! ;D
