What gets me is that I'm paying several grand more for a car only a bit younger than mine and with less of a spec than mine has!!!  Yet my poor old Omega is worth next to nowt.  Not fair is it?

It's time for a change.  I'm surrounded by the lads at work having flash cars, and I'm jealous!   ;D

The real reason is that my gearbox very occasionally slips (it's auto) and though the times are few and far between now, it can only get worse.  I think it's losing a bit of transmission fluid too.  It also has a small oil leak.

I've considered having the gearbox reconditioned, or buying a recon one, and even getting a new gearbox, but at the end of the day, it's not worth it for me to do, might as well move on.

I've been debating about it for a while now, considered Lexus GS300, GS430 even, Audi A4s and now Mercs.  I'm almost certain that I'm going to go for the Merc (even though he insulted my poor mig).  I can give you a link to have a look at it if you like?  The Merc, I mean.  Is that allowed?

If anyone's interested in making an offer, please PM me (I'm working on getting to 50 posts in the meantime!).

Just do not use this site for just selling your car though!  E-bay, Auto Trader, local papers, etc., are for that, and this site is for enthusiasts with Omega's, or other cars, to socialize together as a 'community', along with gaining techinical knowledge of anything really! 8-) 8-) 8-)

If your aim is to get to 50 posts purely for selling your car, and I'm afraid I do query that unrealistic trade-in price you quoted, especially after reading your posting on the "AutoBarnStormer" thread, then none of us members, let alone the Administrators will be pleased. >:( >:(

I apologize in advance if this really is not your intention, and I warmly welcome another woman on this site.  Just please do not let us all down! ;) ;)

Please also note my similar comment under the "AutobahnStormers" thread after your last, what I consider, to be a very revealing comment and seems to also support the previous observations on your Foxy name. ::) ::)

Merc CLK 320.  Pre-2001.  
I nearly bought a 98 CLK320 for just shy of £4000 before I bought the mig....glad I didn't really.  Mig was far better value for money :)

I really wouldn't bother with Ebay. I would spend a little time cleaning and polishing it up and put it in the Autotrader, you will get alot more for it ;)
