Ouch.. must have been a hell of a shock as well.
Maybe you should take up a less risky pastime than caravanning?

Sympathies Martin. I doubt the doctor will be able to do much, industrial strength painkillers maybe.

My motto about a bit of pain never hurting anyone is backed up by fact I have only seen a doc once in the last 27yrs (trod on a rusty nail about 10yrs ago, went a bit manky after a week), and the fact I'm no registered in Brackley.

Did go to hospital (not through choice) when I collapsed at work about 8yrs ago, but headbutted a desk on the way down  :-[ - an ice cream van with blues and twos took me to MK General.

When I fell off the bike about 3yrs ago, I just popped a couple of Mrs TheBoy's painkillers - and got an insight into her strange world ;D.  Mind you, when they wore off in the night, it hurt so much, I got up to be sick (thats real pain), only didn't make it as I passed out on the way to the bathroom, and spent the night on the floor  ::)

Always best to get checked with back pain, but didn't do casulty on Sunday as there is nowhere to park.

I once hurt an ankle badly and rode to hospital - parked on the pavement outside A&E about 22 years ago

COme off some of the stronger tablets as they were doing funny things, currently using Ibuprofen and occasional Paracetamol.

Went to doctors today, another 6 to 8 weeks and I SHOULD be OK.

Don't like the should bit, but it appears my spine was partly compressed and was jarred quite hard.

I will probably get checked out when back from holiday.

The coxick is still sore and sitting down not easy STILL :(

It's already nearly a month and they reckon another 6-8 weeks ???  seems a long time for even severe bruising to go :(

Hope you feel better soon .. :y :y :y

Very sorry to hear you are still suffering Martin! :( :(

It was obviously a very nasty fall, but I sincerely hope you get better soon.  :-* :-*

Apologies for my silly joke about flying in my earlier thread just after your fall! :-[ :-[
