Talking of left wing outrage Manuel Barroso the ex President of the EU Commission will be working for Goldman Sachs advising them on Brexit!    It seems to have a annoyed a few, especially in France...

20 years ago Barroso was a devout Communist. Now hes working for the company which is the most unacceptable face of Capitilism. 
Him and his pals put a lot of business Goldmans way though. They gave them the job of carrying out due diligence on the Greek economy to ascertain if it was fit to join the Euro. When it all went wrong, they installed a retired director of Goldmans to run the Greek economy.
I believe it was a similar story in Italy.
You couldn't make it up. 

To be fair to Boris. I believe he helped bring quite a lot of foreign investment to London when he was Mayor, and has a good network of foreign contacts around the world.

I guess in their former roles as Home Secretary and Mayor of London they must have worked together quite often, so she must know him quite well.    Although she did make a snide comment recently about Boris going to Germany to do a deal and coming home with 3 second hand water cannons! 

I think he looked as shocked as anyone tonight!!
