No....you don't mean to say you've been messed around....on eBay? Unheard of.

24 hours so far since end of auction and no contact from winning bidder

Sadly this is the way eBay is going these days, especially when it comes to Cars.

So now you have to raise a case in order to get your selling fees back, wait x,y,z, then wait again to relist, only to find another time waster etc. Its balls aching'ly poor.

Any point in offering the car to the next few highest bidders?

I will be fair to the guy and give him another 24 hours, as ebay says I should.

If no contact within 48 hours, however, I will file an unpaid item case (which, if It remains unpaid, will refund my listing and final value fees).

If no response to the case within a further 48 hours, it will be closed in my favour, enabling me to relist it.

I wasn't joking on the listing, that I am in no rush to sell. If no luck next time, I will just hang on to her for a bit. It would take a long, long time looking through sale boards to find another car this good for a grand.

The chap placed his bid on this on 10 April. On 12 April he was left feedback from another car seller stating he placed a bid and failed to make contact.

I genuinely don't understand why people waste their own time doing this... hope all gets sorted and it finds a good home James.

I have now relisted the car on another 10 day auction.

 "Ali8016161" or "Mr Akbar Ali has not made any contact at all within 48 hours of auction end, he has therefore been reported to eBay and the process commenced to recover my listing and final value fees.

As per the for sale thread, the car remains for sale here for the price stated and I'd be overjoyed if a member here had the pleasure of owning her

Done. both reported, and a case filed. Mainly so I am not (quite a bit) out of pocket, but also because he's done this twice in the last week, and as such maybe it will help prevent others getting messed around
