Trump is the least of your problems.
Yes, I could not agree more ::) :)

Yet Trump is constantly brought up in threads on here with some defending him.  Why if he is no longer of any significance? :( :(
Then why do you get so upset when his name comes up?

So, not for the first time, you and others can say what you like but I am not allowed to?!

My God, how this forum has declined with understandably few now contributing to General Chat.  What a crying shame.  It used to be fun on here :'( :'(

As far as I know, no-one is "not allowed to say what they like". You have to expect to take flack, especially on political issues. I took shed loads on the WEF thread. In fact, you implied I was a nutter!  ::)

You don't have to get involved with serious threads but I think everyone who wants to vent their views should be allowed to, especially in these very, very uncertain times.

I never did! ;D ;D

The rest I certainly agree with.  :y

…………and I will add one more fact in regards to Trump…………the FBI have announced they found 11,000 government documents at his private residence in Florida.

Those interested can decide what you think of this ;D ;)

Given that he was a) the President, and b) split his time between Miami and Washington DC, that isn't necessarily a surprise.

I suspect that Obama has just as many 'documents' in his possession.

But don't let's get the 'facts' in the way of a witch hunt.

You suspecting something makes it very far from a fact.

Poor old Donald, all he intended doing was "working from home"
seriously he's been caught bang to rights & deserves whatever is coming to him , he was entertaining for a while but there's no doubt in a person of average intelligence that he is totally mad.

………and for anyone uncertain of the American laws on a current or former President retaining State records that Trump seemed to have “overlooked” for his own requirements, this is why the FBI with the Department of Justice have acted the way they have:

Apparently Obama took away around 30,000 files and documents when he left office, so it seems common practice for departing Presidents. Of course a fair chunk of that will be personal memoirs and records.

I wouldn't necessarily believe lurid tales of empty folders marked 'Classified' peddled by the likes of CNN and the New York Times.....  :-X

Remember the left swinging media hates Trump, because he wouldn't suck up to them when he was in office.

I seem to recall that The BBC's Sopel - their Washington correspondent - got barred from press conferences, so when on a witch hunt ;D

Really Sir Tigger? ::)

Read this:
https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-obama-million-documents-929954890662

So it seems yet another dirty smear being dished out by Trump, just like the “Stop the Steal” campaign that was also proved completely false and purely to con the American public.

As I showed in my post with a link to the USA law covering government documents, it cannot be common practice for a former, or existing President, to remove documents from their offices as it is illegal.  Hence the current FBI action, which is no witch hunt, but a serious action to protect America, it’s people, and their allies from the very dangerous risk of highly secret documents falling into the wrong hands.

I take it you read that article...

Obamas records were digital from the get go. He may not have actual paper documents, but one can only surmise just how many digital files he might have direct access to.

Those digital files are also covered by the aforementioned laws of the USA.  Do you really think anyone, even a President, can get away with secreting classified documents away to their private files without ‘the system’ noting it?

Anyway, let’s just watch what action the DOJ takes next over Trump.

Fixed that for you Lizzie.  They are determined to stop him from running in 2024 and undoubtedly are prepared to resort to a few dirty tricks.  ::)

I'll be watching, but with a healthy dose of scepticism.  :)
