Isn't '95 the one with the separate remote fob? And no transponder chip :-\

Does the starter turn over if you apply power to it directly?

Does the dash light up when you switch it on?

Any resistance when you turn the key?

If its a model year 95, it will have the infra red immobiliser system, where you have to start the car within a set time of unlocking the car.  The immobiliser system does seem less reliable than the later transponder based ones.

If it is that one, fortunately it can be easily bypassed.

Prove that it is the immobiliser first, then I'll dig out the details ;)
