I'm reasonably sure you could change the speed that it switches off at, but also probably not the wisest thing to have the TV playing while you drive along... 

For example the Carly app supports this feature on some cars

Not going to bother with the TV tuner or RSE.

The Aux input I retrofitted is the 3 channel RCA factory options. Currently use it for audio only into a 3
5mm jack to feed Spotify in from the phone.

Video switch off speed can be set with Xentry easily enough, but if you have a prang, expect to have to answer some awkward questions regardless of what the screen actually showed at the time. I think the split screen display from the last W221s can be retrofitted so passenger can watch video in motion.
