Earths...
« on: 26 June 2025, 17:27:40 »

Been over the forum and it seems like there is some slight difference on the location of the flat braided earth..some have it going to a point 6 inch ahead of the wishbone bolt,.some to a point under the battery.
1 can we confirm this is the point, and
2 on a PFL V6 would this be right, or better on the chassisrail? Presumably same difference.

Just trying to iron out an old issue. Cheers!

As long as it contacts a clean point on the chassis or the battery itself, then whatever works. As long as the battery is connected to the same metal.

Also having more than one ground connection from the engine to the chassis isn't an issue.

Grand. Just asking because there's been some fiddling about in that area years ago. I'm just going through things, being methodical, making sure things are right. Next is to investigate if the three wires under the coilpack are even present/good contacts  :y
