Thank you to you both.
It's really crap, no one can say how it feels, you have to experience it,
I know many have before & most certainly many will again.
It knocks your duck off & you feel sh!t (to put it mildly)

Bad luck

If you need any help or guides on CV writing I have one or two that might be of use from my recent experience with similar happenings.

Sorry to hear that Pete.

Happened to me 3 times, 18 months ago was the most recent when the plant closed. I was managing 15 scientists and engineers at the time and making those people redundant was rather awful for me. Such a waste.

However, they all did at least as well, most of them did better. Their survival happened because not one of them arsed about. As soon as we were told we were in consultancy, they were on the phone and internet. CVs were honed, a lot of them by peer review. No chance was wasted.

Don't muck about Pete. Waste no effort in finding the next opportunity. If you want help with your CV, Mark has already offered and I will add my offer to his.

Best of luck.
Jim
