Well good luck to y'all ,I never thought it would fall below £1 in UK  again .
Here in Ireland we had our budget yesterday and petrol ,although not diesel ,went up by 8 cents a litre. Still with a 7 billion euro fiscal shortfall expected next year it could have and probably should have been worse.
However, no council tax or water rates help. :y :y :y

Yep. That'll be rearing its' ugly head for certain, just as soon as he's figured out how to fiddle the inflation figures to exclude fuel duty. >:(

That's the only reason Brown wants the Oil Companies to drop their prices so that he can stick the boot in again with his added Tax to try and claw back some of the money his spent bailing out those poor self-abusersbankers >:( >:( >:(.

The oil will soon start flowing out of Iraq again, they need the money to rebuild the Yanks target practice, more oil on the market should keep the supply up and the price down.

The difference between petrol and diesel is now about 12%.....prices used to be very similar....is there a reason for this ,or is Mr Darling a man that hates diesels.....or just a greedy bas###d. :'( :'( :y :y
