I've just taken it off a friends PC - it exists in various guises - on his you could delete the exe file but on reboot it was back and running - traced to rootkit.  His tower is now clean.  Not a job for novices.

If you're unsure, reformat and reinstall.

That was probably me then as I had this rather Antivirus 2009 a few months ago. Yep, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware will get shot of it Pete.

great little tool, also found a couple of other things that spybot, adaware or avg didnt pick up. thanks mr dent  :y :y :y
