all is well so far
she has just come out of the coma
my mom just rang

they are keeping her in intensive care for a few days to make sure she is fine before moving her to a ward
they say she should be back home for crimbo :y

and no way will i be letting her go back to that t**t of a so called boy friend

thanks for all your surport ;)

Fantastic news,   :y :y

Just remember matey, take your time over whats happeing with the boyfriend and make your sister aware of how you feel, as she may well try to defend him.  He will get whats coming to him, just dont get yourself into trouble.

my thoughts aren't suitable for a public forum as i have my own psychopathic tendancies but i'll say this much, if i was in your position and your sister's outcome was of negative result, I know what i'd do, and nothing would be able to stop me

I hope all's well mate

i agree there, ive had all this with my sister. andalso a 25 yr old bloke who hit my son earlier this yr because he thought he was someone else. i wont say what i did but it wasnt pleasant.  ;)
with your sister i would wait until she ok and have a good talk to her first. see what she wants to do, you have to go by what she wants before you go in with fists flying, good news shes out of the coma now. just give her support now m8.

If you're sure he's a wrong'un, i would go for a 2 pronged attack:-
someone speaks to the hospital doctor treating her about their suspicians, basically asking could the injuries be caused by abusive partner.
Someone else gets the police involved, "my friend has been hospitalised by a violent boyfriend"

Glad your Sis is getting better mate.
I had something similar years ago, did something you are considering which didn't work out exactly as I thought as my sis went back to the knobhead and I was the bad person then. Which really upset me at the time.. so I wouldn't do the same thing again.

Hope this helps :y

I wish all the best for your sisters' recovery, buddy.

I know what I'd like to do to the guy but want and ability are 2 different things.

i had the same sort of problem but not as bad, my sis had a nasty hubby, i waited for a quiet moment n had a word, if any more incidents arise, the next time i sidle up to him i will not be talking, but will make him sorry for what he has done, i talked to my sis first tho n got the truth, with our help she dumped him n kicked him out, every things fine now,
good luck with what ever you decide, at the end of the day its between him n her until your sis says something to you.  :-X

i just got back from the hospital and i tried talking to my sister
she wont comment on anything
she said something happened and its nothing to worry about (but she said that in tears)
i think she is hiding something

they are moving her from intensive care to a ward later on today

First things first

1.your sister is the priority  when she comes round you dont want her to be faced with a boyfriend who has been beaten up and a brother who is in the jail for assault.

2. make sure you have got the story correct before you do anything

3 having lived in a household with a violent stepfather when i was young   all i can say is any man who hits a woman for any reason is a piece of shit in my book

dont do anything untill you know your sister is ok  then if your sure he has been lifting his hands to your sister  deal with it "in your own special way"  if he comes back to her i doubt he will lay a finger on her again

oh and one last point ... regardless of what he has or has not done to your sister  THEY WILL MAKE UP    AND YOU WILL BE THE BAD ONE cos you lifted your hands to him   and will that make you any better than him?

god knows i couldnt practice what i am preaching right now cos if someone  touched a hair on my sisters head i would pull their arms off

regardless what you do it will be the right thing to do   just make sure your not going off with half a story

Keep the temper under control... You will end up much worse off for lashing out!

Whilst I can't abide violence against women you will end up in a very bad position if you deal with this yourself... Use the correct routes :y :y :y

As for your sister... I know a fair bit about diabetes and the coma is most likely caused by improper care of sugar levels, and could well be nothing to do with the ar$ehole boyfriend. Unfortunately though, she will most likely defend him for whatever he has done. :o :o :o

IMO the best course of action is to go via the correct channels and be there for her... Let her know your suspicions and that there are people who can help... She has to be the one who does something about it otherwise you will be wasting your time and alienating your family :o :o :o

I'm pleased to hear she has recovered from the coma, but pleases don't jump on the BF until you manage to get the full story from your sister... It MAY (however unlikely as it seems at the moment) be completely innocent!

As per lazydocker and other responses above - beating up the boyfriend may well make you feel good, and make well cause him to leave your sister.

However, your sister needs you and your support - far better to help her realise that the b/f is the wrong one for her; then she'll kick him out and not replace him with another dodgy b*stard who might hit her too.

If you just steam in and smack him about a bit, you won't have solved anything in the long term, and that's the bit your sister needs help with.

Best of luck - glad to hear your sister is getting better! :y

Seems like the best course of action... You'll be able to help her keep on top of the sugar levels for her diabetes too :y :y :y

My thoughts are with you and your sister. I hope she gets well soon.

I agree with the others, deal with the other half when he is least expecting it.

Firstly thank break your sis is out of her coma. Keep your hands in your pockets (for now) Try to get her to convalesce with a family member & keep that breakwit away from her. If you can have him charged with assault then do so but bear in mind she may have to give evidence which she won't be up to at the moment (not sure on that one)

Right. Now it's playtime. Leave it a year or so then give him a proper hiding when he's out one night. By then there'll be no suspicion at your door as an undesirable character like him could've upset anyone & it'll be considered a random fri/sat night assault. :y
