PC Chair
« on: 18 December 2008, 17:13:47 »

I want a new but really comfortable chair for when I use my PC.

I found this.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=200274089981

Then I saw the price.  eek! :-X

do what top gear has done and use the front seat out of a mig

get a leather 1 with electrics and heated seat

if you wire it up right and put it on a good swivel base you will be sound sitting at your computer in a miggy leather heated electric computer chair  :y :y :y

Tis a great idea, I got an old swivel and reclining/rocking chair from an office at work, stripped off the old seat and attached a piece of plywood, the screwed the arms back on and then attached a Recaro seat from an old Opel Manta. Very comfy but starting to ware out now.

Bought a set of MV6 seats a few weeks back, not to happy with them in the Mig so may end trying to fit one of them on the swivel base shortly.

I used a dead chair base with a pair of seats from a Toyota Yaris (ebay - 99p!!).  Comfy enough and surprisingly tasteful!  4 years later its still going strong.

It was the 99p buy that tempted me....ever since having seen a Recaro race seat being used.
