MX5's aren't hairdressers or girlie cars just a real laugh to drive, cheap & reliable. (Not all Migs can claim the last two)!!
Anyway when i win the lottery (tonight) i'll buy a modest size barn conversion with galleried landings, en suite bathrooms, proffesional kitchen (oh yes) & loads of land, storage, workshops, in & outdoor pools. etc. No need personally to fly off abroad though i'm sure i'd do some travelling, America/India but no resorts for me.

Saving the best til last i'd have a tarmac oval race circuit built & open my own Banger Racing track like i used to race on @ Angmering W Sx. (Oval race club) to be run as a hobby/income & for OOF days i'd have a few MX5's all caged up & track prepped for you lot to do 8 lap races in & see how much fun they are!!!! :y

Travelling to America is a must.  Fill a few containers up with V8 engines and gearboxes and then go hunt doen some muscle cars to buy and send home.

I would allocate up to 50% to family and the rest to my projects in Africa. Put money into building project (orphanage) in Ghana in 2006 and it was finished and opened in April this year. Working on a bigger one now in another West African country. I make sure we proivide the bricks and mortar and that the maintenance is ongoing and sustainable.

You just need enough for yourself and your family to be comfortable - I think the excesses achievable with a lottery win are not good for anyone (but it depends on the size of win and the health etc of your family as to what you set aside) but I do understand why we are all conditioned to go for it and sod everyone else.

I agree that MX-5 are great cars. But they are really a car for the ladies in my opinion.
I have two friends that own ,or have owned one. Both women. :-* :-* :-* :-*

You don't need a lotto win to have an MX5, just tell me when Mr Dusty is away and I will take you for a ride in it ;D

If I hit the jackpot .......
I'd go on long-term sick leave, and let the beggers pay me off under the severance scheme. Then I'd donate the pay-off to a good cause!
