My driveway was in the same style you describe when I first moved in, 33 years ago. Two strips of slabs with gravel down the centre. I then removed the gravel (kids throw it everywhere) and replaced with grass. Trouble is that gets churned up by the car if you have a curved drive like me. So many years ago I slabbed the whole drive using the originals plus new one's, been a good job but you need to make sure it's compacted down properly or it will sink, especially with something as heavy as an Omega going over it. My neighbour had his brick paved ten years ago and he's had had it relaid twice, plus all that moss he keeps having to remove down the cracks, that sound painful :'(

My drive is 2 1/2' by 2' imperial size 2" thick paving slabs bought via a mate who used to pave for the council. Grand price of £1 each plus what he charged for laying them. Plus point is that any marks caused by trolly jacks etc are not noticed!  :y

Certainly is......

I used thier advice when doing mine over 4 years ago.

Only thing I hired was 3 skips....bought a wacker off ebay and broke the concrete with a 14ld sledge, the rest was dug by hand!

Will post some pics later

...... My neighbour had his brick paved ten years ago and he's had had it relaid twice,  ......

My neighbours block drive had been down for a winter before they came back to relay the blocks infront of his garage. He uses his garage and had 2 troughs leading to it, like you find on hills on motorways from HGV's. It's al moved again since.

Typical crap job, not done right.

One of the key reasons I did mine myself is because I had not at any point found any 'pro' doing the job right!
