A terrible disease borne to it`s end with great fortitude; under the gaze of an ambivalent and (at times) cruel and judgemental "public".
Condolences to her family.

That was her choice was it not?

Wow! What a discussion!

I've struggled with the publicity thing.  There are countless(?) individuals going through the same stuff and worse who are overlooked except by close relatives and friends.

I guess a conclusion (albeit paradoxical) that can be drawn from the above comments is that undesirable people can drag out commendable behaviour when adversity strikes.

Perhaps God knows what He's doing when he doesn't intervene every time we shout at him.

Come to think of it, this forum probably wouldn't exist if he did!  Our miggies would do 10,000 mpg and use no oil or water.  There'd be chlorophyll in the paint.....

To everyone who has the health to get under the bonnet today... God bless you.  And the same to the others, plus some. :y

You'll forgive me if I don't shed a tear!

I can only assume he wrote his own (flattering) questions too.
Hopefully the bid is from a windup merchant.

Sorry but this is now getting silly....listening too the radio on way too work and they said that the Sun newspaper who never liked her has now a 16 page spread on her.

The only other time they have done this is for the Queen mum and Princess Diana.

Just read this from the plonker selling the Goody plate.

Q:  Hi, I have been in tears all day after seeing her face on a magazine cover in WHS this afternoon. She really is the real 'peoples Princess'. You too are a Saint for this wonderful gesture. Good luck with the auction 22-Mar-09
A:   yes its been a very sad day

Dear god what planet do these people live on....... :o
