i used to love going down small streets with lots of cars parked up and keeping the revs high and see how many car alarms i can set off

My 2.5 Mig had a split in the back box and coz I liked the sound I didnt change it, made a lovly F1 sort of sound.  Every time I dropped my girlfriend off at her own home I used to take great delight in running close to some rsoles car to set his alarm off.  He allways parked like a twart and if emergency services like a fire enginges needed to get through there would have been problems.

Ok this is going to sound like a silly question but, what are cherry bombs, are they just these big exhausts the chavs use? in my day it was 'side pipes'   :-/

I think the car would suit them, may need a bit of a body kit to set them off, problem is the wheels, they are all flat, and not inset, or whatever the technical term is, you know what I mean :y

Side pipes and cherry bombs work on same principle - straight through exhaust path with no restrictions...
Used them both over the years, on V8 and V6.
Sound good and improve flow of exhaust by relieving backpressure on engine...

Best results obtained when they are fitted with no other boxes/cats etc..One of the best setups is to use these just in front of the back axle, with no other boxes....

For a setup with bombs in front of axle, your tail pipes would be made up so they are just pipework without back box...
No, I dont have these on my Mig, yet... ;)
Only had it 6 weeks, but will be transformed slowly...
