Apart from Jade being a human being like you and me, suffering from weaknesses that we all do in one way or another, she has paid with her life and children are left without a mother.
Also look at it this way:
A great awareness of the possibility of cervical cancer in women has been caused by the 'Jade Story', with one NHS trust reporting women lining up for checks to the tune of 1,200 in one day, when normally they would see that number over a week!
In addition it is likely that regular screening of young women, under 25, for this condition will at last be approved for NHS patients, instead of the stupid and dangerous policy seen until the Jade affair of this age group being ignored.
This is the true Jade legacy, so no matter what you may think of the path taken to get to this point, do you not agree that the Machiavellian "end justifies the means" really is proper in this instance? God operates in strange ways.
So before some of you disrespect the poor women in death, just think please..............have you achieved as much in your life as she did and of potentially saving untold numbers from a terrible disease by bringing it to global attention when she could have died with just selfish intentions?? :-? :-?
RIP Jade..............Let her rest in peace!
