What's this, do tell!!!!!!!!!!! A meet at Deb's place. :y

Yes, we WILL be having a meet early this Summer; Pikey-pitches (w/electric) available and a small log-cabin available for somebody coming a long way to overnight. :y
Actually, I`m already busy repairing the driveway ruts and mowing the garden jungle meadow in readiness. ;)

Well daughter and myself will be interested, whenever really just not August bank holiday. We will be using a camper van, can we have a hook up please, subject to daughter asking her grandad, yes my Dad, but she is better at fluttering her eyes........ :D :D :D

I am sure you can do it if you try  :-*

Am going to jump in here.

I have no doubt that Dan was 100% when he made all the commitments.  But as most of you will remember he went through a very rough time with his Mum suffering a stroke and his Dad becoming ill at the same time.

His Mother went on o suffer a heart attack after that and for a while it seemed to have sorted the affects from what the stroke caused.  From what I first picked up I thought she may have been on the mend and so did Dan for a while.

Sadly the improvement didnt last and from what I can gather he lost his Mum shortly after.

There is more and yes it is sad, but I dont feel it is my place to talk about it, I am sure if and when Dan returns he will explain all.

If you paid for any items and didnt get them then PM me and will see what I can sort.

Other than that and under the circumstances I am sure we all understand that life doesnt allways work out the way we plan and even with the best intentions at the time I am sure all the parts would have been sorted as agreed.

Playful-doggies, sheep/lambs and runner-ducks and all safely-away from traffic; `plenty to occupy your couple of 'tiddlers' during the meet. :y

The 500 metre driveway (rocky-track) is my only real problem for the meet; it`s badly water rutted and I fear the lower-set cars (and pikey-wagons) may drag their undercarriages and do themselves damage.
I`ve arranged the loan of a 5 Ton excavator (and I have an old rock quarry in one of my fields), so I`ll be turning into a civil engineer and making major road-repairs in a couple of weeks.....then we`ll be all set!  ;)
