Yep... I'm with Pipex, who sold to Tiscali, who've now sold to Talk Talk who are owned by the Carphone Warehouse, who tried charging me £17777.12 for a months mobile bill, cut me off and sent bailiffs after me whils I was on my honeymoon even after admitting they were wrong about the bill >:( >:( >:( >:(

Time for a new ISP methinks ::) ::)

Yep... Not bad considering I had a £500 credit limit on the account ::) ::) ::)

To be fair, when it was finally resolved I paid £45 for 6 months use and left my contract 6 months early so they did eventually resolve the issue. I did have to escalate it to the office of Charles Dunston, CEO though

Yup, Carphone Whorehouse bought them out, been on the cars for about a year, and is probably currently the best solution for Tiscali customers, considering their problems.

Certainly initially, don't expect to see any difference, as it will be run initially as is.

Everyone I know who had voice or broadband services from the Whorehouse have cancelled and returned to BT for voice and other ISPs for broadband

I've been on Tiscali for then last year and am well happy with the service.
I'm running at a smidge below 7meg and get unlimited download, phone line rental and free evening and weekend calls for £14.99.

From what I gather all will remain as it has been.  :y

(I flippin' hope so  ::))

Tiscali's downfall, as that is not sustainable
